Welcome

This is Andy Bunn's very low tech web presence. I'm an environmental scientist with teaching and research interests in climate variability, paleoecology, and energy. I tend to focus on the interaction between climate and forests. I use dendrochronology, geographic information science, and simulation models in my research and teaching.

I strongly encourage undergraduate study in my lab. Please get in touch with me if you are a Huxley student interested in working on an independent study or a thesis project.

Undergraduates at Huxley should check out the Polaris Project website for a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Prospective master's students should look here.

"Science ... warns me to be careful how I adopt a view which jumps with my preconceptions, and to require stronger evidence for such belief than for one to which I was previously hostile. My business is to teach my aspirations to conform themselves to fact, not to try and make facts harmonize with my aspirations."
