I am posting the proof of the "zero theorem" that I did on Monday. I made the proof completely selfcontained. That is, I am not citing any exercises from the notes. I just use the definition of continuity.

Read Sections 2.1 and 2.2. You can present in class any of the
exercises that are not solved in class. You can use any of the
exercises that are solved.

If you want to present a solution, then, before the class starts, write your name and the number of the exercise in the upper right corner of the white board.

You can also earn presentation points by posting solutions on the blog.

Here is a text file with the instructions how to install LaTeX on your computer. Some of the file names in the instructions should be replaced by the latest versions of the corresponding files.
