On Wednesday evenings (at 5:30ish) throughout the academic year, faculty members and students meet informally at RUDY's (on State Street) for wide-ranging discussions, pizza, and drinks. A tradition for the department since 1992, these gatherings are indicative of the close association between instructors and students in the Department of Philosophy at Western. This event has been a real success over the years, and all students with an interest in philosophy are encouraged to attend.
