Information for Prospective Graduate Students

Hello and thanks for your interest in my work. The majority of my research is laboratory based with some field applications. If you are interested in conducting research in Environmental Toxicology and working with me, please contact me by e-mail. Information that I would like to see includes:

• Your resume or curriculum vitae.
• Your GRE scores when available (just a summary of the scores and percentiles, unofficial is fine).
• A summary of your research experiences with emphasis on laboratory or field work and results of that work (if available).
• A document that you have written that demonstrates your scientific technical writing skills. This document can be a report or paper from a class.
• A brief description of the general type of project you are interested in working on.
• The names, addresses, phone numbers, and e-mails of three references (at least one of which has worked with you in a laboratory or in conducting other research - if available).

We typically accept students in the spring for the following fall quarter. The number of students I accept each year is funding dependent. Although laboratory research experience is not necessary to work with me, it does help. There are, however, many other qualities that may make you a viable applicant for me.
