Barbara J. Lehman:

 

                                                       

 

     Barbara J. Lehman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Western Washington University. In 2002 Dr. Lehman
earned her doctorate in Applied Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, where she had a specialization in applied
research methodology and statistics. Her postdoctoral work in the area of Health Psychology was completed at the University of
California Los Angeles, through a National Research Service Award funded by the National Institutes of Mental Health. Between 2007 and 2009 Dr. Lehman was a visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Human and Community Development at the University of California, Davis. Her work has been published in outlets such as Health Psychology, Psychosomatic Medicine, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Biological Psychology, Stress and Health, and Social Development.

Requesting a Letter of Recommendation

 

     If you are a former student, have taken at least three classes from me or have worked in my lab for at least two quarters, I will have the information necessary to write you a letter of recommendation.  If that is your situation, please email me and request a letter.  If you make a last minute request and it is a busy time of year, I may not be able to write the letter.  I’ll let you know if I feel I can write a strong letter within your timeframe.  If I agree, you should provide me with the following information as far as possible (minimum two weeks) in advance of the application deadlines.  Please download and closely follow the instructions below.
