Part 1) (7 points)

Due Friday June 8th 5:00 PM, in Michael's mailbox. (recommend bring to class on June 6th)

For this lab you must simply ...

• Theorize about a spatial relationship
• Formulate a null hypothesis or alternative hypothesis
• Select a level of significance
• Delineate regions of rejection and nonrejection of the above hypothesis
• Calculate the test statistics, report the Adjusted R squared value (i.e. using correlation analysis from excel)
• Then make a decision regarding null and alternate hypotheses

You will have to gather data, assemble it into the appropriate forms, and perform the analysis.

I will need a 1-2 page write-up detailing the steps above.  The write-up must include a general layman's description of your questions, techniques, and answers to your questions.
