This course will cover analysis and application of cartographic techniques and geographic information systems to practical mapping and resource management projects. The emphasis of the course will be a single project. Click here for details...

The class will also have a professional development component that will involve guest speakers and several assignments throughout the quarter, including the development of a GIS portfolio.

Additionally each student will develop a specialization in GIS and prepare a write-up about this specialization.
